This Cookie & Local Storage Policy explains how the Movialy service (" Service"), provided by Red Friend Co., Ltd., trading as Movialy, uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Our Approach

We keep tracking to a minimum. The Service does not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies by default, and we do not sell or share your browsing behaviour with advertisers. We use only the storage strictly necessary to make the Service work and to remember your preferences.

2. What We Use

2.1 Essential authentication storage

We use browser storage (including localStorage/sessionStorage) to keep you signed in by storing your authentication session (managed by our authentication provider, Supabase). Without this, you could not stay logged in.

2.2 Preference storage

We store your interface preferences locally in your browser — for example, your selected language and filter settings — so the Service behaves consistently between visits. This data stays in your browser.

2.3 Progressive Web App caching

The Service is a Progressive Web App (PWA) and uses a service worker to cache application files. This enables faster loading and partial offline functionality. The cache stores application assets, not behavioural tracking data.

3. What We Do Not Use

  • No third-party advertising cookies.
  • No third-party analytics or behavioural-tracking cookies by default.
  • No cross-site tracking.

4. Managing Storage

You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time. Note that clearing essential storage will sign you out and may reset your preferences. The Service also provides a "Force update" option to clear the application cache and load the latest version.

5. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on our website with a revised "Last updated" date.
